Fingerprints
Plus operates under MOU with a local Police Service to perform check. We are
usually able to provide an online soft copy of the certificate within few hours
of submitting an application. As a process, the name and date of birth are
compared to the entries that are present in the National Repository of Criminal
Records, maintained by the RCMP and other databases (CPIC) and a certificate is
produced whether the name and date of birth exists in the data base. If the applicant’s
information matches a record in the database, the applicant is advised to proceed
with a fingerprint-based check to clarify the identity of the applicant.

an individual is applicant’s responsibility.
Apostille Services:
If you need your criminal record and/or other documents to receive an Apostille, Fingerprints Plus offers an expedited service. Please let us know and we will be happy to provide you with a quote. Please note that Canada is a member of the Hague Convention since January 11, 2024. We can have an Apostille issued to the documents that have been issued in Canada only. - For which country the Apostille/Authentication service is required.
- We will get back to you with time and cost information. In some cases we might need a copy of your passport. We will give you that information in our email.
Services for people who can’t attend a branch or are living at remote places (Including Overseas)
If for any
reason the applicant is unable to visit one of our branches, we have the
situation covered. We will provide you with our friendly and professional
service and still provide you with our same day service. You
must be able to provide copies of 2 acceptable Identifications, return the
signed form and attend to a video call for less than a minute. You will be
requested to pay an invoice online. A list of acceptable identifications is
provided below. Your original identification will be verified/witnessed in this
call.

Services for people who can attend a branch
You may
walk in or make an appointment and have your criminal record check application
submitted. You must be able to provide originals of 2 acceptable
Identifications as per the list below. We will provide you with a soft copy of
your results by email on the same day.
